什么是“现象”？

“现象”（Phenomenon）一词用来描述那些奇怪的、无法解释的事件，这些事件不能简单地被区分有生命和无生命、人和非人、存活和死亡等特征的其他类别概括。现象这个术语涵盖了通常没被人们完全理解的任何无法解释的、不自然的超常。现象以蔑视物理定律，推动时间和欧式几何等概念的边际而闻名，在这些现象中，不可能可成为现实。或许可以说，这些现象就是使得这个空间这么令人又爱又恨的根本原因，以及将这个世界同前厅分割开来的界限。

从穿墙术、神秘仪式、给定空间里突然出现的致命区域、将无生命变为有生命的异常法术到眨眼之间位移至其他房间，现象可以涵盖从各种各样有用却无法解释的技能，到不可避免的由人类可能永远无法完全理解的势力或神力造成的死亡。建议在探索未经发掘或未被完全理解的层级时要特别小心，因为理性无法解释它其中含有什么样的未知。
